Miriam Poh

ABOUT

Miriam is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. She originally studied a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History at the University of Canterbury and recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling. This year, Miriam is studying towards a Diploma in Professional Coaching from the Southern Institute of Technology NZ.  

After graduating from University, Miriam spent 3 years working for a Software Company before taking time out to start a family. During this time, she was very involved in her children’s lives, volunteering in the preschools and schools they attended and helping out in the afterschool activities. After 12 years and 3 children, she is now getting back into the professional world, with a passion to help people. She is currently volunteering as a helpline counsellor, and enjoys the time there able to offer support.
