How Extended DISC accreditation changed my coaching business
In 2015 I took the leap to invest in Extended DISC accreditation training, it was the best thing I could do. At the time I had no idea what an important coaching tool this would be for my clients and how the profile would help me to quickly identify the ways that I could help clients. Now instead of meeting a client for the first time and having to go through the process of getting to know them I already knew a great deal about them from their profiles. This has made my coaching productive and efficient, I have been able to identify the likely areas that my clients are going to want to discuss, for example time management, stress related to people, conflict resolution or process related situations.
Once I had my certificate I was able to order profiles whenever I needed them and ask my Master Trainer for guidance if I ever came across a difficult situation that I felt was out of my depth. Fairly soon I had learned how to customise reports and was producing tailored FINX reports that were specifically created for an organisation.
My favourite application will always be in a partnership situation. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with couples and having them understand their other half in a different way, appreciating their unique ways and accepting them. In 2019 I became a Master Trainer myself and am looking forward to welcoming my own affiliates to the profile coaching business and supporting them in their use of this incredible coaching too.
